Homemade BBQ Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
  • ¼ cup tomato paste
  • ¼ cup cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon molasses
  • 2 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Place all of the ingredients in the bowl of a slow cooker along with chicken or other meat. Cover and cook on high heat for 3-4 hours or low heat for 6-7 hours.
